Product Specifications:
Genuine factory replacement 3.00" x 0.50" extension spring manufactured by Excel Industries for Hustler Turf Equipment. Functions as the primary hydro pump tension spring, controlling precise drive belt tension on the Pump Belt (607400) directly from the idler arm to prevent hydro belt slippage and preserve drive transmission responsiveness.
Required Hardware & Inspection Notice:
- Please inspect the condition of your idler arm bushings, pivot bolts, idler pulleys, and belt guides when replacing tension springs. A stretched spring or sticking idler arm can cause premature hydro belt wear and loss of ground drive power.
