- The transmission housing releases cleanly at the drive wheels via standard retaining rings.
- Note: Keep your original transmission bracket. The factory bracket transfers directly over onto the new housing using your existing Plastite mounting screws.
Pro Maintenance Tip: A failing transmission is often accelerated by stretched cables or worn drive belts. When installing a replacement transmission assembly, always take a moment to inspect the traction cable tension, the drive belt for cracking or glaze, and the condition of the internal gear teeth on the rear drive wheels.
