This factory OEM Hustler mulch kit encloses the underside of the cutting deck, forcing grass clippings back down into the matched mulching blades. By processing debris into a fine mulch, it cycles vital moisture and nitrogen nutrients back into your soil layout while completely eliminating clippings from blowing into landscape beds, paths, and driveways.
Hardware & Maintenance Notice:
- Mowing Best Practices: For optimal performance, mulch kits should be used on dry turf on a regular mowing schedule. Cutting wet or overgrown grass can cause material accumulation under the baffles, restricting deck airflow and impacting cut quality.
- Pair this kit with sharp, genuine mulching blades and ensure the underside of your mower deck is thoroughly scraped clean prior to installing the baffles and discharge cover.
