Transform your standard 42-inch side-discharge deck into an efficient, closed-deck mulching system. This factory OEM Hustler mulch kit encloses the underside of the cutting deck, forcing grass clippings back down into the matched mulching blades. By processing debris into a fine mulch, it cycles vital moisture and nitrogen nutrients back into your soil layout while completely eliminating clippings from blowing into landscape beds, paths, and driveways.
For maximum performance, mulching kits should be utilized in dry conditions on a consistent cutting schedule. Tall, dense, or heavily saturated turf grass can cause wet debris to accumulate inside closed deck shells, temporarily reducing airflow and impacting cut quality.
